Douglas Corporation’s own Council Chamber represents a fine example of the partnership between the local authority and local business

Located on the first floor of Douglas Town Hall the Council Chamber is where Council business has been conducted for more than 100 years. With its panelled walls and magnificent barrel vaulted ceiling the Council Chamber is an imposing and flexible setting suitable for events such as wedding receptions, seminars, conferences or wine tastings. Also on the first floor and available for hire is the Committee Room, ideal for the smaller private business meeting.
