Nunnery Estate & Events

The Nunnery Estate and Events is the catering and hospitality section of the University Centre, the Island’s higher education institute. Located close to the business centre of Douglas, a rural estate includes extenisive mature gardens, a magnificent 19th century mansion house and a recently converted stable block, now a high quality teaching and meeting facility.

If you want to provide impressive hospitality for your clients or colleagues in a spectacular setting, the Nunnery Estate and Events offers the perfect environment. There is an extensive range of beautiful purpose designed rooms for corprate and private hire which vary in delegate capacity from 2 to 120 people. All rooms are multi-functional and offer a range of high-tech audio visual and I.T. equipment, public access wifi, telephone points and natural light.Alongside the regular room hire choices there is a tiered lecture theatre for upto 48 delegates as well as an executive suite, complete with delegate laptop computers.

Furthermore the magnificent grounds are available by special arrangement for marquee functions, filming and other outdoor events.

Excellence in catering and hospitality is provided in-house by renowned local chef of some 19 years experience, Angelo. Choose from a range of menus starting with sandwich and finger buffets through to table d’hote menus.
